Looking for the perfect venue for your next meeting, celebration, workshop, or community event? The Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation offers a variety of rental spaces to accommodate gatherings of all sizes.

Our facilities provide clean, comfortable, and welcoming environments suitable for conferences, training sessions, family celebrations, cultural events, community meetings, and special occasions. Whether you're planning a small gathering or a larger event, we are committed to helping make your experience a success.

Our facilities are available for community members, organizations, businesses, and external groups, subject to availability and rental policies.

We encourage all guests to respect our facilities and help maintain welcoming spaces for everyone in our community.

Makwa Community Centre

The Makwa community Centre is open Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Fridays to 4:30 p.m. during Summer hours July to September), our facility is available to rent at $40/hour for all types of events such as weddings, stag and does, fundraisers, birthday parties, celebration of life events; the facility renter is able to conduct alcohol related activities on site with a Special Occasion Permit (issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario) and event liability insurance is also required for alcohol related bookings. To access services or rent the facility you can contact the Sports and Recreation team at 613-625-2682, you can stop by during hours of operation or you can email any of the team members who will then respond with next steps.

The Elders Lodge

The Elders Lodge is a warm, welcoming, and versatile gathering space available for rent within the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation. Designed to bring people together, the facility is ideal for community events, meetings, workshops, training sessions, family gatherings, celebrations, and cultural activities.

Available amenities may include:

Spacious meeting and gathering area
Tables and chairs
Accessible washrooms
Kitchen facilities
On-site parking
Audio/visual equipment (subject to availability)

Renters are expected to treat the facility with care and respect to ensure it remains a welcoming space for the entire community.
