Planned Temporary Traffic Disruption Notice for Mishòmis Inamo

The Algonquins of Pikwàkanagàn First Nation (AOPFN) is advising community members of a temporary road closure on Mishòmis Inamo on Wednesday, October 21st, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to accommodate watermain works at Nigig NibiKi-win Gamik.

The closure is necessary to facilitate watermain installation and related infrastructure work. Community members are asked to plan accordingly, allow additional travel time and use alternate routes where possible.

Drivers are asked to be cautious in the area and follow any posted signage or directions from construction personnel.

AOPFN appreciates the community’s patience, cooperation and understanding as this important infrastructure work moves forward.
