Councillor Merv Sarazin
With a formal education in Business Administration and Human Resources Management, he brings over 30 years of senior management experience in First Nations’ community operations. As a traditional person, he is deeply connected to the land as a hunter, fisher, trapper, and gatherer. He is committed to fostering cultural vibrancy and mentoring others in project management and leadership. His ability to build and cultivate strong relationships and partnerships within his community and beyond has been a cornerstone of his work. A proud descendant of Chief Pinesi, and Chief Jocko, he carries forward a legacy of leadership and dedication.
