Administers an alcohol and drug abuse prevention program that enhances the Health and Well-being of all community members.

Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program is a prevention based program. We provide confidential counseling for community members with alcohol and/or drug problems at their home or the Health Services office. Referrals to other services are made as well as networking with other First Nation NADAP workers when required. On the prevention side, we offer monthly pre-teen and teen dances, family sobriety dances, problem gambling workshops and theatre presentations.

We reflect upon our Algonquin Culture by offering Sacred Pipe ceremonies, Sweat Lodges, Family Healing Circles and Smudging. We promote our native heritage, spirituality, and encourage and support a healthy lifestyle.
