Pikwàkanagàn is a participating member of Màmiwininì Màmawotàgoziwin, the Algonquin Language Sharing and Action Circle.

Màmiwininì Màmawotàgoziwin is based in Kitigàn-Zìbì and its Membership includes all eleven Algonquin First Nation Communities: Abitibiwininì, Barrière Lake, Eagle Village, Kitigàn-Zìbì, Lac Simon, Long Point, Pikwàkanagàn, Timiskaming, Wahgoshig, Winneway, and Wolfe Lake.

Màmiwininì Màmawotàgoziwin’s Mission is: “To undertake to ensure the continuing survival of the Algonquin Language and Culture by assisting communities in any and all efforts to achieve their stated goals for Language preservation, restoration, revitalization, maintenance, protection, promotion and development.
